Designed and built in conjunction with Bradner Homes in 2009-2010, this home presented some challenges around entry definition, flanking street circulation and useable outdoor space on the south side of the property. Incorporating a secondary garage/storage bunker on the southerly edge of the property facilitated support for the outdoor swimming pool. Three terraces in the rear yard flow together forming an interesting visual as well as functional use pattern. A fire vase at the south end of the pool creates a focal point from the various indoor and outdoor areas of the home. Use of natural stone and architectural concrete along with a lush plant palette makes this home very inviting and accessible.
