Located in Whitehorse along the Yukon River, the Kwanlin Dunn Cultural Center will provide a vibrant new public space for both Whitehorse residents and tourists. The design for the site includes an expanded public beach, children's play area, a riverfront walk, benches and picnic tables, and an ephemeral garden consisting of local plants. Sustainability is at the forefront of this project - the landscape plan incorporates drought tolerant plant species and on-site storm water mitigation.
